Lamacoid (or lamicoid) was originally a trade name but now generically refers to 2-ply and 3-ply plastic tags or plates. Lamacoids are very cost effective, come in a variety of colours and shapes and are easily mounted with standard adhesives. Typical applications for lamacoid labels are device identification, control panels, cable or valve tags, name tags and operator devices such as pushbuttons.
